This final volume (in French) of the series on the coroplastic art of Cyprus is devoted to the mould-made female figurines of the Cypro-Archaic period. Notes on the use of the mould as a technique are followed by nine main chapters describing figurines of various types, subdivided according to the workshops where they were made. While some figures are depicted with their hands raised to their breasts, others have their hands down the side of the body. Yet other figurines are shown carrying offerings or an infant or playing the tambourine or lyre. A final chapter is devoted to discussion of the types of figurines made by the various workshops at Amathus, Kition, Salamis(?), Kythrea(?), Arsos, Lapithos and Achna. The figurines in the various volumes of this series provide a wealth of information on numerous aspects of daily life, both religious and sacred, in ancient Cyprus.
